VVL Solenoid Oil Pressure Test

- Remove the Variable Valve Lift (VVL) Solenoid(s). Refer to SOLENOID, VARIABLE VALVE LIFT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the VVL oil pressure test adapters (special tool #2027300090, Kit, VVL Adapters)as indicated in the video.
- If removed, install the upper intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Start and idle the engine. If oil pressure is 0 at idle, shut off the engine and consult the Engine Lubrication and Diagnostic Table. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
- Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
- Verify that the engine has acceptable oil pressure. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
