Removal And Installation: Installation
- Lightly lubricate the new O-ring seal with engine oil and install on the oil pick-up tube.
- Install the oil pick-up tube (2) and tighten the bolt (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level. Refer to OIL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
