Removal And Installation: Installation
- Install the fuel tank fill tube (1) into the housing seal (2).
- Install fuel fill hose onto the fuel tank and securely tighten the clamp (2).
- Connect the fuel vapor line (1) quick connect fitting (1).
- Install the lower fuel tank fill tube fastener (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FUEL DELIVERY, GAS, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the upper fuel tank fill tube fastener (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FUEL DELIVERY, GAS, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the fuel drain hose (2).
- Connect the fuel vapor line (3) quick connect fitting to the vapor canister.
- Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor quick connect fitting (1) to the fuel tank filler tube.
- Install the left rear wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
