Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the Anti-lock Brake Module (ABS) /Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) with support bracket on the ABS/HCU support bracket studs.
- Install the support bracket nuts (3) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Position the brake lines in the ABS/HCU tighten the brake line flare nuts (4) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the ABS module wire harness connector (1).
- Install the washer solvent fill tube into the washer solvent reservoir, and install the mounting bolt (2) and tighten the bolt.
- Install the shield over top of the Integrated Control Unit (ICU).
- If a new ABS control module is being installed, connect a scan tool and calibrate the yaw sensor and the steering angle sensor.
- Bleed the brakes. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
