Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the latch presenter assembly (1) back into the door cavity (2) and install the carrier plate assembly.

  2. Install the four bolts (2) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the wire harness connector (3).
  4. Connect the cables (1). Refer to CABLE, FRONT LATCH, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or CABLE, HOLD OPEN LATCH, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or CABLE, INSIDE HANDLE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or CABLE, LOCK, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or CABLE, OUTSIDE HANDLE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Install the rear latch mounting screws (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Install the interior handle. Refer to HANDLE, INTERIOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
