Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Apply adhesive tape to the surrounding body panels to protect against damage.
  2. Remove the cowl panel cover. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the wheel on the side of the vehicle being worked on. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the wheelhouse splash shield from the side of the vehicle being worked on. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the sill cladding. Refer to CLADDING, BODY, SILL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Remove the headlamp assembly from the side of the vehicle being worked on. Refer to UNIT, FRONT LAMP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  8. Open the door and remove the bolt (2) from the fender (1).

  9. Remove the two bolts (1) from the bottom.

  10. Remove the bolt (1).

  11. Remove the two bolts (1).

  12. Remove the three bolts (1).

  13. Remove the fender (2) from the vehicle.
