Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

A suitable body sealant should be used when removing or moving the hinges.

Install the hinge assembly (2) into the rear of the lower track and position into place onto the inner door panel.
Line up the hinge (2) using the marks made during removal and install the bolts (1).
Tighten the bolts (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

Position the drive plate (2) back onto the hinge assembly (3) and install the bolt (1).
Tighten the bolt (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

Install the hold open striker (3) onto the mounting plate (2) and install the bolts (1).
Tighten the bolts (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

Install the cable (2) and the hold open latch assembly (3) onto the hinge arm and install the nuts (1).
Tighten the nuts (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the lower B-pillar trim, Refer to PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, LOWER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Check sliding door for proper operation.
