Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

Make sure the protrusion (3) is orientated towards the interior of the vehicle.

Position the front door latch striker (2) on the face of the outer B-pillar.
Install the fasteners (1) that secure the striker to the B-pillar.
Tighten the fasteners (1) that secure the striker (2) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
Adjust the latch striker position as necessary to achieve proper door spacing and latch operation.
