Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the rearview mirror glass. Refer to MIRROR, OUTSIDE REARVIEW, GLASS, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the two fasteners (1) securing the mirror cover (2) to the top of the mirror glass motor.

  3. Pull the inboard upper corner of the mirror cover (1) outward.
  4. Remove the rearview mirror cover (1) from the rearview mirror.
