Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the latch assembly (3) back into the door cavity (4) and install the carrier plate assembly (1).
- Install the fasteners (2) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the front door wire harness bracket (1) to the front of the door.
- Connect the wire harness connectors (2) and seat the wire harness (1) into the A-pillar and seat fully.
- Install the front door latch mounting fasteners (1).
- Position the door glass and secure it to the window regulator glass sliders, making sure the glass and lift plates are properly seated.
- Tighten the window motor fasteners.
- Install the glass fasteners (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Plug the power mirror harness connectors (1) back in.
- Position the access plugs (2) back into place and seat fully.
- Install the inner belt weatherstrip (1) to the front door opening (2).
- Install the front door trim panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the exterior handle support fastener (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the exterior handle. Refer to HANDLE, EXTERIOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
