Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the hood latch release cable through the hole in the dash panel and seat the cable grommet.
  2. Install the cable end (1) then engage the cable (3) into the hood release handle (4).
  3. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Route the hood latch release cable (4) and clip into place.
  5. Install the hood latch (7). Refer to LATCH, HOOD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the front end module closeout panel (1) and the push fasteners (2).
