Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the carrier plate. Refer to PLATE, CARRIER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1).

  3. Release the latch cover tabs (2) and remove the latch cover (1).

  4. Disconnect handle and lock cables (1) and remove the latch assembly.

  5. Release the clip (1) and disconnect the link rod.
  6. Release the clip (2) and remove the latch assembly (3) from the presenter bracket.
