Removal And Installation: Removal
NOTE:
The luggage rack rails may be serviced individually.
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, pry up to release the retaining clips securing the front luggage rack rail cover (1) and remove the cover.
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, pry up to release the retaining clips securing the rear luggage rack rail cover (3) and remove the cover.
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, pry up to release the retaining clips securing the center luggage rack rail cover (2) and remove the cover.
- Remove the six luggage rack rail nuts (2).
- Gently lift up on the front of the roof rail (1).
- With the use of a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, start at the front and carefully pry up on the luggage rack rail (1) releasing it from the roof studs and brackets.
- Continue working toward the rear of the vehicle until fully released.
- Remove the luggage rack rail (1) from the vehicle.
