Removal And Installation: Removal
- Remove the third row seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or SEAT, STOW-N-GO, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or SEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or SEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the outboard headrest. Refer to HEADREST, STOW-N-GO, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or HEADREST, THIRD ROW, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or HEADREST, THIRD ROW, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the center headrest, if equipped.
- Using a trim tool, remove the push fastener (2) from the seat back.
- Open the J-strip (2) at the bottom of the cover and open the zippers (3) the sides.
- Pull the cushion loose from the seatback frame as shown in illustration.
- Reach up behind the cushion to push the tabs (2) and remove the center headrest guides (1), if equipped.
- Remove the seat back cover and cushion as an assembly.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the clips molded into the seat cushion. If the clips or cushion are damaged during removal, replace the cushion.
- While pulling the cover (1) from the cushion (2), use a hook tool to release the clip strips (4).
- Pull to release the hook and loop fasteners (3) and the cover.
