Removal And Installation: Removal
- Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to STATIONARY GLASS, WARNING .
- Remove liftgate trim panels. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the spoiler. Refer to SPOILER, DECKLID, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove rear window wiper arm (3), if equipped. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the heated backlite wire harness connectors (6), if equipped.
- Using an assistant and a windshield cut-out tool (2), cut and separate the urethane adhesive securing the glass (1) to the liftgate fence.
- Carefully remove the glass (1).
