Third Row Power Folding Seat Calibration

NOTE:

The power folding seats must both be latched before the recliner calibration routine can be initiated. Failure to do so will result in calibration routine failure.

With the appropriate scan tool,

CALIBRATE FULL RECLINE

needs to be executed if any of the following conditions is true:

ECU was reprogrammed
Any of the seats went through repairs
Any of the following DTCs is active:
1. B1E61-00: 3rd Row Seat Folded Position Stop Not Learned
2. B1EB6-00: Left Seat Recliner Calibration Incomplete
3. B1EB7-00: Right Seat Recliner Calibration Incomplete

With the appropriate scan tool,

CALIBRATE STOW

needs to be executed if any of the following conditions is true:

ECU was reprogrammed
Any of the seats went through repairs
Any of the following DTCs is active:
1. B1E63-00: 3rd Row Seat Latched Position Stop Not Learned
2. B1E62-00: 3rd Row Seat Stowed Position Stop Not Learned

NOTE:

If the third row power folding seat will not complete a full cycle a problem exists with the third row power folding seat system.

In order to obtain conclusive testing of the third row power folding seat system, the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus, and all of the electronic modules that provide inputs to, or receive outputs from the third row power folding seat system components must be checked. Any diagnosis of the third row power folding seat system should begin with, the use of a scan tool and the appropriate diagnostic service information.
