Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Using a trim stick (1) (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the seat switch bezel (2) from the D-Pillar trim panel.

  3. Disconnect the switch electrical connector (2).
  4. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the switch to the bezel.
  5. Remove the switch.
