Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Open the glove box.
  3. Using a trim stick, remove the switch bank pod assembly (1).
  4. Remove the screw located in the media hub bezel (3) opening.
  5. Open the bin (2), and using a trim stick remove the media hub bezel.

  6. Remove the screw (1) from the instrument panel trim (2).
  7. Using a trim stick or equivalent, start removing from the center of vehicle and rotate the part outward to release the end from the right side A-pillar extension. Remove the instrument panel center trim panel (4) and disconnect the wire harness connector.
