Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the rear observation mirror (3).
  3. Remove the two screws (2).
  4. Pull down at the front of the overhead console (4) to lower, then push forward to release the hooks (1) and remove.
  5. Lower slightly and disconnect the wire harness connector.
