Removal And Installation: Removal
WARNING:
Always wear eye and hand protection when servicing the mirror assembly. Failure to observe these warnings may result in personal injury from broken glass.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Place thumbs behind mirror glass case (1) and push out from the mirror assembly. This will disengage the mirror glass case's snap attachment feature.
- If so equipped, disconnect the wire harness connectors (1 and 3) and remove the glass (2).
