Separate the mechanism cover (1) from the front glass.
Put the sunroof in the vented position.
NOTE:
Be careful when prying apart the vertical uprights. If the uprights get damaged, the entire sunroof assembly must be replaced.

Remove each side of the drain channel (2) by prying apart the two vertical uprights (1), and lifting it.
Do this on each side of the drain channel, then remove.
