Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the spring retainer (2) to the antenna body (3) then install and tighten the bolt (1) securely.
- From the outside of the vehicle insert the antenna pigtail wire through the mounting hole at the rear of the roof panel then position the antenna body over the mounting hole.
- Use hand pressure to press the antenna body down toward the mounting hole until the spring retainer snaps into position on the inner roof panel.
- Reach between the rear of the headliner and the inner roof panel to access and reconnect the antenna pigtail wire connector to the body wire harness connector.
- Reinstall the headliner onto the inner roof panel. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative cable to the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), reconnect the IBS connector.
