Removal And Installation - Instrument Panel Speaker: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the defroster grille. Refer to GRILLE, DEFROSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the two speaker (2) mounting fasteners (1) from instrument panel.
  4. Lift the speaker up and disconnect the wiring harness.
  5. Remove the speaker from the vehicle.
