      Yes

      • Repair the (P39) Liftgate Exterior Handle Switch Return circuit for a short to ground.

      No

      • Go To  6
  6. CHECK THE (P30) LIFTGATE HANDLE SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN
    1. Measure the resistance of the (P30) Liftgate Handle Switch Sense circuit between the RFHM C2 connector and the Liftgate Handle Switch connector.

Is the resistance below 2.0 Ohms?

      Yes

      • Go To  7

      No

      • Repair the open in the (P30) Liftgate Handle Switch Sense circuit.
  7. CHECK THE (P39) LIFTGATE EXTERIOR HANDLE SWITCH RETURN CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN
    1. Measure the resistance of the (P39) Liftgate Exterior Handle Switch Return circuit between the RFHM C2 connector and the Liftgate Handle Switch connector.

Is the resistance below 2.0 Ohms?

      Yes

      • Go To  8

      No

      • Repair the open in the (P39) Liftgate Exterior Handle Switch Return circuit.
  8. CHECKING THE (P30) LIFTGATE HANDLE SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT BEING SHORTED TO THE (P39) LIFTGATE EXTERIOR HANDLE SWITCH RETURN CIRCUIT
    1. Check for continuity between the (P30) Liftgate Handle Switch Sense circuit and the (P39) Liftgate Exterior Handle Switch Return circuit at the RFHM C2 harness connector.
