Removal And Installation: Liftgate: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the liftgate trim panel to gain access to the speakers. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Remove the four speaker mounting screws (1).
- If equipped with a push pin from factory, remove the push pin also.
- Carefully pull the speaker (2) from the inner panel and disconnect the wire harness connector from the speaker.
- Remove the speaker (2) from the vehicle.
