CAUTION:
Use care when servicing the humidity sensor. The humidity sensor bracket cannot be serviced separately from the windshield. If the sensor bracket becomes damaged, the windshield will need to be replaced.
The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module uses the passenger compartment humidity value to implement the correct operating strategy to activate the compressor, set the correct amount of recirculated air, blower motor speed and exit mode, to prevent the windshield from fogging up.
The humidity sensor is located to the right of the inside rearview mirror.
