The Electric Parking Brake (EPB) control module consists of the following components:

• EPB switch and indicator
• EPB control module integrated to Antilock Brake System (ABS) module/Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) module
• Two electromechanical motor gear units attached to conventional sliding calipers
• Communication to other modules allowing seamless operation of the EPB
