Removal And Installation: Installation
NOTE:
Torque all fasteners with the vehicle on the ground at ride height.
- Position the camber link in the vehicle.
- Install the camber link to crossmember fastener (1) Do not tighten at this time.
- Install the camber link to knuckle fastener (2) Do not tighten at this time.
- Engage the wheel speed sensor retainers (2) into the camber link.
- Place suitable jack (2) under the knuckle near the shock fastener (1).
- Install shock absorber to knuckle fastener (1) Do not tighten at this time.
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Position the vehicle on an alignment rack. Raise vehicle as necessary to access mounting fasteners.
- Tighten the camber link to crossmember fastener to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the camber link to knuckle fastener to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the shock absorber to knuckle fastener to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Perform four wheel alignment. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
