Removal And Installation: Removal
- Remove the wiper arms. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, release the cowl end cap fasteners (3) from the fender edge.
- Push down and inward to release the cowl panel end cap rear hook (1) from the fender edge.
- Remove the cowl panel end caps (2) from the vehicle.
- Release the from stuffer (1) from under the fender and release the fastener (2).
- Remove the fasteners (5).
- Pull the front of the cowl panel cover forward and release the front tabs (1).CAUTION:
Use care when working with the retaining channel on the bottom of the windshield. If the retaining channel is damaged the windshield will require replacement.
- Release the rear of the cover (2) from the windshield channel (1) by pulling forward gently and remove the cowl panel cover from the vehicle.
