Removal And Installation: Removal

Remove the front seat. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
If equipped with recliner and height adjust handles, use a small flat bladed tool and remove the handle screw covers. Remove the screws then pull each handle to remove.
Remove the screws (2) at the front and back of the outboard side shield (3).
Pull out at the bottom to release the retaining clips, then push forward and lift to remove.
Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the switches (1).

Pull out at the bottom to release the retaining clips, then push forward and lift to remove.
