Front Washer Hoses And Tubes: Description
The front washer plumbing consists of small diameter rubber hoses that are routed along with the rear washer plumbing from the washer reservoir (5) located at the right front corner of the engine compartment. Both reservoir hoses are attached to their respective front or rear outlet nipple of the washer pump/motor unit (6) near the bottom of the reservoir (5). The front hose is then routed along the right (load beam) inner fender. The engine compartment hose (8) is routed along the right side of the (load beam) inner fender to the hood panel.
At the hood panel, the front hose is connected to the jumper hoses that are integral to the front nozzles (2) on the inner hood reinforcement. The two front nozzle supply hoses are part of the front nozzles and routed through clearance holes on the underside of the inner hood reinforcement to the engine compartment hose (8).
Rubber (or TPV) washer hose or tube is available for service only as roll stock, which must then be cut to length. The nylon washer hose and molded plastic washer hose fittings cannot be repaired. If nylon washer hose or plastic fittings are ineffective or damaged, they must be replaced.
