Front Washer Nozzle: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- From the underside of the hood, remove the push-in retainers that secure the hood silencer to the hood to access the washer nozzle connections.
- From the underside of the hood, disconnect the washer nozzle hose fitting (2) from the barbed nipple of the washer nozzle (1).
- From the rear edge of the hood, insert a small flat-bladed screw driver between the hood inner reinforcement and the body of the washer nozzle body far enough to compress the latch feature (1) far enough to lower the nozzle from the upper edge of the mounting hole.
- Pull the washer nozzle rearward to disengage the locating tab features (3) of the nozzle from the lower edge of the mounting hole and remove the nozzle from the inner hood reinforcement.
