Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

DO NOT use a hammer to tap down the sensor. Use a post spreader to open the post if reusing the existing sensor.

NOTE:

Avoid IBS rotation during tightening of nuts to avoid breakage.

Place the IBS onto the negative battery post and push the IBS down until properly seated on the cone of the post.

Tighten clamp (1) to the proper. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

NOTE:
The IBS clamp can break free if not stabilized when tightening the cable nut.
Connect the negative battery cable to the IBS eyelet nut (2) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

Install the two-pin wire harness connector (Power and LIN) (1). Make sure there is no stress on the wires .
Install the components removed to access the battery. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
