Removal And Installation - Fwd: Installation
- Install the cross-under pipe into its position between the catalytic converters and exhaust pipe.
- Align the clamp (2) to the right catalytic converter flange.
- Install a NEW gasket between the left catalytic converter and cross-under pipe flanges and tighten the bolts (1) to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the right side exhaust clamp (2) to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the cross-under pipe support bolts (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the inboard cross-under pipe isolator mount bracket to the cradle and tighten the fastener (2) to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the clamp (3) to the cross-under pipe and exhaust pipe, then tighten the clamp to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the bolt (1) to the outboard cross-under pipe isolator mount bracket, using vertical adjustment to ensure well balanced isolators, then tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the exhaust pipe support stand and verify proper alignment of the complete exhaust system.
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION and/or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
