Sliding Door: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the trim panel from sliding door to access the speaker. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the four speaker mounting screws (1).
  4. Carefully pull the speaker (2) from the inner door panel and disconnect the wire harness connector from the speaker.
  5. Remove the speaker (2) from the vehicle.
