Liftgate Lamp - Grand Caravan And Voyager

TAIL LAMP REMOVAL 

1. Remove the light bar from the liftgate. Refer to LAMP BAR, EXTERIOR HANDLE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the back of the lamp assembly.
3. Remove the fasteners (4) securing the lamp assembly to the liftgate.
4. Remove the lamp from the vehicle.

TAIL LAMP BULB REMOVAL 

1. Remove the appropriate access panel (1) from the interior liftgate lower cover.

2. Rotate the socket (2) and once free, pull back on the socket to release the socket and bulb from the lamp housing.
   NOTE:

   All models - The reverse lamp is a serviced bulb.

   NOTE:

   All Models - The reverse lamp is an incandescent bulb and is serviced. Certain models are equipped with Light Emitting Diode (LED) upper lighting. If the LED lamp is inoperative, the lamp assembly will need to be replaced.

3. Replace the bulb or LED lamp unit as needed.

TAIL LAMP BULB INSTALLATION 

1. Insert the new bulb to the lamp socket.
2. Insert the lamp socket with bulb (2) to the lamp assembly.

3. Install the appropriate lamp access cover.

TAIL LAMP INSTALLATION 

1. Position the lamp housing to the liftgate and install and tighten the fasteners (1) securely.
2. Connect the wire harness connectors to the back of the tail lamp assembly.
3. Install the light bar to the liftgate. Refer to LAMP BAR, EXTERIOR HANDLE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
