Puddle Lamp: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the appropriate side mirror glass (1). Refer to MIRROR, OUTSIDE REARVIEW, GLASS, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the puddle lamp (1).
  4. Release the retainers (3) securing the puddle lamp to the inside of the mirror.
  5. Remove the puddle lamp from the vehicle.
