Diagnostic Test
VERIFY OPERATION OF THE BUTTON
NOTE:
For Premium Radios, make sure that the I/P bezel is not contacting the display screen.
NOTE:
For Lowline Radios, make sure that the buttons are free of debris.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on repair order.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Press and release all the Radio hard and soft keys three times.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Did the DTC return?
Yes
- Replace the Disassociated Center Stack Display (DSM) Screen in accordance with the Service Information.
- Replace the Radio in accordance with the Service information. Refer to MODULE, RADIO RECEIVER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
