Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Module DTCs and record on the repair order.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Turn the Radio on.
5. Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
6. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK PCM DTCs
1. With the scan tool, read Powertrain Control Module DTCs.
  Are there any Charging or Battery DTCs present?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to DTC INDEX and perform the active charging system or battery DTC diagnostic procedure.
  No
  - This code is for information only. At some time there was a low battery system voltage. Check the battery and charging system in accordance with the Service Information.
