Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the purge solenoid (1) to the bracket.
  2. Install the purge hose (2) to the intake manifold.

  3. Install the purge vapor line quick connect (1) to the evaporator purge solenoid. Refer to FITTING, QUICK CONNECT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  4. Connect the evaporator purge solenoid wire harness connector (1).
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
