Removal And Installation: Installation
- If the horn unit is being replaced with a new unit, install the horn and hood ajar switch wire harness retainer into the new horn unit bracket.
- Position the horn and mounting bracket unit (2) and install the fastener (1) for the horn bracket. Tighten the fastener securely.
- Engage the horn and hood ajar switch wire harness into the cable retainer (2).
- Connect the wire harness connector (4) to the hood ajar switch.
- Connect the wire harness connector (3) to the horn.
- Position the front end module closeout panel (1) and install the fasteners (2).
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
