Theory Of Operation

The Electric Park Brake (EPB) is incorporated into the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module on this particular Brake Controller. The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module is sensing a low voltage in the Electric Park Brake (EPB) portion of the ABS Module during a EPB actuator activation request. This can in turn cause the EPB actuators not to actuate or interrupt an activation request.
