Theory Of Operation
When the Gear Selector is in the Reverse position or if the Speed Control is active, the Body Control Module (BCM) disables the adjustable pedals function. When the BCM detects either of these events, the BCM provides a voltage signal, through the Adjustable Pedal Relay Control circuit, to the coil of the normally closed Adjustable Pedal Relay, which opens the contacts in the relay and disables the Adjustable Pedals.
