When Monitored

This diagnostic runs when the following conditions are met:

• With the engine running in fuel delivery mode.
• Battery voltage above 7.5 volts.
• The model predicted engine oil temperature at engine start must be below 136.4°F (58°C) to initiate the diagnostic.
  • The diagnostic will make a determination and stop running when the predicted oil temperature reaches 88°C (190.4°F).
