Default Action
- The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated on the first trip that the diagnostic fails.
- Based on the current gearbox state when the failure occurs, the current gear or the target gear will be held. When conditions allow, the Transmission Control Module (TCM) will default to Limp-in mode.
- Reverse may be disabled.
- Shift adaptation functions will be disabled.
