Theory Of Operation

The purpose of the diagnostic is to detect failures of the internal Transmission Control Module (TCM) voltage supply circuit. The internal TCM voltage is converted independently into two digital values using two separate Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) channels. The diagnostic is performed by comparing the two digital values of the system voltage.
