Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE CHARGING DTC 
    1. Verify that the battery is not overcharged with a DVOM.
    2. With the scan tool, compare the Battery Voltage listed under "Data" in the Right Power Sliding Door Module (PSDMR) View to that of the PCM. If the battery is overcharged, correct this condition before proceeding.
    3. With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs and record on the repair order.

      Are there any active Battery or Charging system DTCs present?

      Yes 

      No 

      • Go To  2
  2. CHECK THE RIGHT POWER SLIDING DOOR MODULE 
    1. With the scan tool, read PSDMR DTCs and record on the repair order.
    2. Start the engine and run for two minutes.
    3. With the scan tool, read PSDMR DTCs.

      Is the DTC active?

      Yes 

      No 

      • Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
      • This code is for information only. At some time there was low battery system voltage. Check the battery and charging system in accordance with the Service Information.
