Passenger Seat: Removal

  1. Position the appropriate front seat to the fully up position.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. If equipped with an Intelligent battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  3. Working from the front of the seat, disconnect the wire harness connectors (1) from the Memory Seat Module (MSM) (2).

  4. Unsnap the tabs holding the MSM (1) to the bottom of the seat frame.
  5. Pivot the module downward to remove it from the front of the seat frame.
