Manual Park Release (MPR) Engage

Pull the Manual Park Release (MPR) lever tether out and push the lever inward and release the MPR lever tether (1).
Allow the MPR lever to seat into position.
Gently pull out on the MPR lever to verify that it is locked in position and the vehicle is in park.
