Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

Take the proper precautions to protect the face of the steering column opening cover from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.

  1. Position the in-car temperature sensor (2) to the steering column opening cover (3).
  2. Install the two screws (1) and securely tighten.
  3. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
